We hope this message finds you well.  It has been some time since our last communication.  Despite the significant changes our world has undergone since March 2020, we hope that you remain filled with the passion and hope that drive us at the Wilbert F. Mays School every day.  With all the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic presented, we have persevered, and it is with great expectation and enthusiasm that we announce the return of our annual Jewel of the Nile Gala, to be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 5:00 P.M.  at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe, located at 100 Frank W. Burr Blvd, Teaneck, New Jersey. 

Along with the rest of the world, our beloved school faced many challenges, but we endured through it all and to the present time, we remain committed to ensuring our future leaders continue to receive top notch, quality Christian education.  Over the past few years our staff stepped up to provide the level of excellence our students are accustomed to and deserve.

Although many of our annual activities had to be modified or cancelled, we are so very excited to return to our in-person Gala next year and we look forward to sharing this experience with you. With your continued support we look forward to making this event an overwhelming success. 

The event proceeds will help in the following ways:

1. Support of math and science enrichment programs

2. Upgrade our literacy and technological infrastructure

3. Sustain STEM/STEAM enrichment programs

4. Enhance our computer technology and equipment

5. Enhance our music programs

6. Enhance our health/fitness programs

7. Continual upgrades for our facility to maintain a healthy and safe environment

Your support is essential to the continued success of the Wilbert F. Mays SDA School.  You can support by placing an ad in our souvenir journal (form attached), donating a product and/or service for our silent auction and/or purchasing event tickets at $125.00 each.  Should you donate for the silent auction, your business will be recognized on the auction display page of our souvenir journal.  We will also provide a donation receipt letter for your records and tax purposes.
